Pastor's Corner – March 13th, 2024
This is a bitter/sweet time for Faith Church.
This Sunday, we’ll say good-bye to our good friend and faithful Minister of Music, Steve Myers. We’ll miss Steve and his sweet family as we wish them the best in their move.
The sweetness of the time is revealed in all the wonderful things happening across the Faith community. We were blessed last Sunday with a power-filled teaching on humility by our good friend, Trey Johnson and we look forward to hearing more from Trey and his wife, Shantel in the future.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast continues to rock along. Although the number of guys in attendance was low this past weekend, we enjoyed an intimate conversation initiated by Vaughn Spencer and I believe we’ll count this breakfast as one of our best.
We’re headed into the holiest season of the Christian year.
We’re two Sundays away from Palm Sunday and three Sundays away from Easter and with these holy days come the Good Friday Fish Fry and our children’s Resurrection Day presentation.
I hope you make these worship and fellowship opportunities a high priority for you and your family.
It’s beginning to look a lot like spring in Midfield! The Urban Garden has been plowed and ready for planting and this year, you have the opportunity to participate in the sowing process. Go to our website for more information. You can also participate in the Leaf Pantry this weekend and remember, we love volunteers.
Join us this Sunday for worship!
Blessings,
Pastor
