Pastor's Corner – Feb 1, 2023
We’re taking a pause this weekend from our teaching series on Spiritual Growth and we’ll hear from a former Faith Church member who will offer his testimony following a prison sentence that was supposed to be life without parole.
Against all odds, Derick Ervin, Sr. was released from prison and he is now living a new life in Christ, reunited with his family and united with Christ for the first time.
We invite you to join us for this special Faith Church event this Sunday at 10:00 am.
In a way, Derick’s testimony will continue our theme of Spiritual growth because he will unfold the story of how God’s Word transformed him during his incarceration.
This young man is a perfect example of how God is truly the God of second chances. So many of us make the mistake of treating failure and sin like terminal events – they are not! Ask David, “the man after God’s own heart”.
David committed adultery, murder and he lied. Many of us have committed lesser sins and God has forgiven us but we forget to forgive ourselves. God wants to use all of His children – let
