Pastor Aubrey Miller

Pastor's Corner – Feb 17, 2023

The Faith Church family was blessed last weekend by the testimony of Derrick Ervin who is a former member of Faith Church. Derrick was convicted for drug dealing.

In his testimony, he explained how he was actually arrested by God, who by His mercy saved him before he could go past the point of no-return.

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole; however, he was miraculously released two years ago. Derick shared his entire story with the church, and we were all inspired. If you missed this great message, you can catch it on our website.

This Saturday, The Leaf Food Pantry of Faith Church will be back in operation and I am certain that many families will be blessed. You can be a part of this great ministry by signing up to be a volunteer.

This month, we are activating the Faith Church Prayer Force and we’ll be set up to meet the prayer needs of those who come to visit the pantry. In addition to the prayer stations, we’ll also offer two devotion periods between 8:30 and Noon where will share the Gospel with those who an ear to hear a Word from the Lord.

This Sunday, your Pastor will continue his teaching series, “Essentials for Spiritual Growth”. The message this weekend is all about the Word.

The Word is the food of growing Christians. We cannot live for long without eating proper food. In the same way, we need food to have a good meal from God’s Word every day. The Bible says, “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16). Love the Bible, Learn the Bible and Live the Bible!

I look forward to seeing YOU this weekend.
