Pastor's Corner – November 15th, 2023
Beverly and I are overjoyed following a very special time of celebration, worship and fellowship last Sunday.
Of course, we are grateful for the cards and gifts; however,
I am more grateful for the spirit of collaboration demonstrated by all the ministries of Faith church.
Yes, I am biased, but I was spiritually moved by the spoken words of my daughter, Amy. Her message was thoughtful and right out of the Word of God. Before Amy was ever introduced, the Faith Church Praise Team, led by Steven Myers, set the atmosphere in a way that few can imitate. And following this memorable time in the sanctuary, our amazing Hospitality team provided a feast of epic proportions. For this wonderful event, THANK YOU!
This weekend was also highlighted by the monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast. Our chefs, Chris and Tarus are to be applauded for a hearty breakfast and a shout out to Fred Ervin for offering the devotion. Eighteen men were present and totally engaged in a convicting conversation. If you missed the November Breakfast, don’t miss our next gathering set for December 9th (the second Saturday.
A couple of final shout outs:
Thanks, Finitra for a well-planned and well-attended Mother-Daughter craft event.
Chris, thanks for your consistent leadership of Youth on the Move.
Please send/bring your Youth out THIS Wednesday Night at 6:00 p.m.; this month, our teacher is Mrs. Felicia Davis.
Blessings,
Pastor
